Girls Finish 2nd In The State Of Texas
by posted 05/14/2018

Bringing Home the Hardware

How do you finish off an amazing season?  How about:

  1. Finishing 2nd in the Texas Northern Reagion and qualifying for the State Tournament
  2. Blasting the 3 seed to advance to the quarter finals in the State Tournament
  3. Blasting the 2 seed in the quarterfinals to advance to the championship game of the State Tournament
  4. In the Texas State Championship game, giving the number 1 seed Greenhill (biased disclaimer: they should be in D 1) all they could handle before falling 14-9.  Prior to our game, Greenhill had outscored their two opponents 34-2.  Our girls pushed them to the brink.
  5. Represnting the Plano Program with 2 All State selections (Sydney Lawrence and Katie Reilly) and 3 All District selections (Emily Hatch, Carly Presz and Sophie Fields).

To the coaches: Thank you to for an absolutely amazing season: Coach Amy, Coach T and Coach Q.  You are the best around and everyone knows it.  We really appreciate all the hard work, time and dedication that you have given to the girls and the program.

To the senior girls: Good luck, stay in touch and we will miss you.  You can watch us Take State next year on the live streaming.  We couldn't have done any of this without you and you've helped establish a program that represents winning and we intend to keep honoring that tradition.

To the rest of the team: 2018/2019 is when we get the larger trophy.  Work hard, the new season will come faster than you think.  So, we will see you soon.

To the girls in our youth program or moving up to high school: Some day, maybe very soon, you will be playing for a state championship for Plano Premier too!!

To girls considering playing: Come join us and help carry on the winning tradition.

To the parents: Thank you for your support of the girls and the program.  None of this would have been possible without you.
